Chemistry is the scientific study of interaction between substances. When some substances combine, there’s a chance of decomposition or displacement, but when Gairyd and Jason combined BOOM! You’ve just witnessed combustion and the birth of Science Parkway.  Science Parkway, is the musical collaboration between vocalist/producer/writer Gairyd Fuller (Gee) and composer/writer/producer Jason Vaughn (JV).   Joining forces in high school, Gee and JV have been making music together in 2003, as they got in trouble together for listening to the parental advisory version of The Clipse CD.  Weeks later they were creating and experimenting with different types of sounds and found their niche in alternative music.  Born to a musical family where his father was the lead Bassist for the innovative group Zapp & Roger, Gee also found his passion in music. At the early age of 6 and after the death of his father, Gee started to sing and write music.  He perfected his craft through camps, workshops, and by listening to his mother’s music collection.  Today he continues to make music and is inspired by the sounds of Rivers Cuomo from Weezer and Patrick Stump from Fallout Boy.   Conditioned to love the arts from the womb, as his mother took piano lessons during her pregnancy, Jason was also born to a musical family. His father played bass and electric guitar and his mother, brother, and sister sang for different choirs. Introduced to the piano at two years old Jason became a phenomenal musician.  Inspired by Radiohead and Kanye West,  Jason has taken his childhood craft and transformed into his own with the goal to “reinvent music in a way that no one else has ever done it.”After being away for a year Science Parkway is “Back to Earth” bringing back an innovative, compelling and beguiling mix tape for eclectic ears now available to download. If placed in a genre they would be considered alternative but this dynamic duo brings a blend of punk, rock, electronica, r&b, emo, and new wave with a dash of Hip Hop on this critically acclaimed project. Along with the mix tape, two music videos for the songs Suicide and You Bitch have been released. They will also be performing in upcoming shows starring G.O.O.D. Music recording artist Big Sean. “I don’t want people to be content with labels. They should make what they want to make, live life the way they want to live and with no boundaries.” shares Gairyd Gee’ Fuller “This is what freedom sounds like.”
