Winter 2010 Fashion Forward-What's IN and what's NOT

So there are definitely must haves for this Winter season and I am here to make sure you are
                                                                        FABULOUS!
Ladies Winter Must Haves                             Over-The-Knee Boots

This is a trend we just can't get away from for winter 2010. They could possibly be the season's must-have item whether you go for something wild like these hot pink super-high suede boots or a more classic black, you'll want to wear these everywhere. Consider pairing them with a mini and colored or patterned tights.
                                                                      Chunky Knits

Texture is huge this season, and details show the intricacies of style -- and take the drab right out of winter
                                                                                 Hot Colors

To make your wardrobe last for the next season or so, consider your color choices carefully.  There's a major return to classic camel, as well as menswear-inspired gray and black. These muted tones are a great neutral backdrop that you can dress up with seasonally inspired accessories.

                                                               Colored & Patterned Legwear

Let your legs do the talking with fall's quickest way to update your look: hosiery. Virtually every designer styled their runway looks with hosiery, tights or socks in a multitude of chic and wearable combinations. Whether a bold opaque or a sheer wash of color, hosiery in a variety of hues (including white!) hit the runway this season. Wear a contrasting bright leg to amplify your look, or go for a more subtle monochromatic look to appear instantly slimmer.

                                                                      Military Style

Yes, military remains a trend for Winter 2010.From army green to shearling lined boots, it's now a trend that's far more subtle but no less appealing.A word of warning though: there has been an odd occurrence of camouflage print, I'd recommend you avoid it for the time being - it's not time for a come back.
                                                                          Lace

The ultimate balance of lace in 2010 / 2011 is to be romantic but not over-girly; sensual but not over-suggestive. Like taking beautifully crafted lace that would have once been part of a garment and making it the only layer. The lace isn't an added detail of a garment, it IS the garment. And thus we come to lace skirts and lace dresses. Just keep the cut a little more relaxed or the hem a little longer to maintain that balance.

                                                                    Layering rings

It is a retro look borrowed from  the 1970s, where it was hip for chicks to clutter the fingers with very many rings and things. This time around it's about bold chunky styles that make a statement, or mood rings and cabochons in amber, onyx, garnet, turquoise and aquamarine, or stacks of smaller rings one on top of the other.
